We at Winnow are thrilled to be a 2023 Winner of Impact 50’s most impactful companies to work for.
Impact 50 conducted a deep dive into the world of impact - to uncover companies, stories, people and careers that drive positive change in the world. Thousands of companies were reviewed, and 10,000 employees were interviewed to discover the top 50 companies.
We were nominated alongside several incredible organisations working to make the world a better place, in different ways. This includes:
- Headspace, making the world a better place through meditation
- Patagonia - who lead the way on ethical fashion
- Google .org, who focus on a variety of world challenges - from providing support to displaced refugees to focusing on climate innovation.
An important criteria from Impact 50 was to ensure that all employees throughout the organisation feel that the contributions are making a meaningful impact to an important cause - in our case, food waste. We work together every day to tackle one of the world’s biggest problems, currently saving 36 million meals / year.
Our values are reflected daily in the work we do, and we are pleased to be recognised for it. For instance, we are Bound by Food: where together, we believe that the value of food is the common thread in everything we do. We are also People and Planet positive, as we all aim to leave this planet and its people better off than how we found them.
